Thanks to Marcel and Lissy for the warm hospitality and the amazing game drives to Kruger Park. We saw the big fives at our first day 😍 the Breakfast bags were very good. We enjoyed the evenings and the dinner togeather with the other guests so much. We will come again

New owners Marcel & Lizzie were as lovely and caring as Manager Maggie. We felt at home and even my last minute info about vegan diet was respected and great ZA dishes like stew were served for me next to delicious meat as the others told me :) . Place is cosy and the terrace really offers encounters with Empalas and bush babies, if you're lucky. The tour guide Tiaan gave us the best safari tour, more than we could wish for (he is the bird expert) .

The overall feel of the lodge is so homey and wonderful. Its definitely a home away from home. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They were VERY knowledgeable about the area and the park, they even gave us some pointers where to stop when driving back home. Breakfast and dinner was homemade with love and tasted delicious! It's always a treat to have local cuisine. I will definitely be back!

We had a really good time at Turaco loge. Especially the Safaris made the whole stay perfect. We booked half board. We can recommend to do this because there are not many restaurants around. The guest hosts did everything to make our stay memorable.

After our vacations in Kruger NP, Turaco Lodge is now, for us, the best stop (almost 2 nights) . before flying home. This is the third time that we enjoy Turaco Lodge and the Marloth Park. We, my wife and me, love Turaco Lodge : very enchanting place, with beautiful and comfortable rooms. It was amazing the dinner that we enjoyed every evening. Another fantastic thing are the animals visiting the place. Genets and bushbabies are common visitors in veranda.

We really enjoyed our stay in Turaco. The staff was super friendly and attentive, the room beautiful and clean, the patio and garden wonderful to sit after a long day of Safari in nearby Kruger. Food was great, simply nothing to complain about. I would recommend to book the organised Safari trip with a ranger which they offer. If you are lucky you get to see monkeys and warthogs in the garden.
